Coding Devlog #2


-What were your team's goals for the past couple weeks? (regarding your area of expertise)

The coding team was doing research into the AI components for the game.

-How did you work towards accomplishing those goals?

I was looking into raycasting as a possible answer. Currently, I am working on NavMesh as well as OnTriggerEnter as more viable alternatives.

I am still working on these new concepts.

-What has your process been?

We have been learning about this in a different class and I'm supplementing what learned there with other video tutorials in YouTube as well as looking at the Scripting API.

-What are your goals for the next week? (regarding your area of expertise)

To have a navigable area and an AI script for the enemy patrolling said area.

-How will you go about accomplishing those goals?

Using NavMesh as well as onTriggerEnter().
